Jameson offers wholesalers trucks, fridges and fans in new trade push

The gist
  • Pernod Ricard Nigeria's Jameson brand is rewarding qualifying wholesalers with trucks, generators, fridges and TVs.
  • The Jameson Wholesale Offer 2026 runs from 14 September to 13 December 2026.
  • The company says the rewards recognise wholesalers' role in moving products to retailers.

Wholesalers who stock Jameson products have a chance to pick up delivery trucks, generators and other business equipment under a trade offer from Pernod Ricard Nigeria, the company behind the Irish whiskey brand.

The Jameson Wholesale Offer 2026 began on 14 September and closes on 13 December 2026. Qualifying wholesalers can win 30 delivery trucks, made up of 10 five-tonne trucks and 20 smaller 1.5-tonne trucks.

The reward list also includes 100 units each of 7.5KVA petrol generators, side-by-side refrigerators and 75-inch televisions. Thousands of smaller items are up for grabs too, such as tabletop gas cookers, rechargeable fans and air fryers.

Why it matters to traders

For a wholesaler, a working truck or a generator is not a luxury. It is what keeps stock moving and goods cold when the power goes off. The company said the rewards are meant to help partners with the cost of running their businesses day to day.

Emmanuel Ehikioya Musa, Head of Trade Marketing Nigeria at Pernod Ricard Nigeria, said wholesale partners are key to getting products to retailers and other businesses.

"We recognise the work that goes into managing stock, meeting customer demand and keeping products moving," he said.

The offer also has a sell-out part. Wholesalers can earn extra items, including gas cookers, rechargeable fans and air fryers, to pass on to the retailers they supply. The company said this gives wholesalers another way to appreciate their own customers.

Ikechukwu Agu, Commercial Director at Pernod Ricard Nigeria, said the initiative is part of building long-term relationships across the distribution network.

"Our trade partners are an important part of how we do business," he said.

Pernod Ricard Nigeria was set up in 2012 and is part of the Pernod Ricard Group, a global spirits and champagne company. Its brands include Jameson, Absolut vodka, Chivas Regal, Martell cognac and Beefeater gin.

What happens next

The offer closes on 13 December 2026. The company said participation is subject to the programme's terms and conditions, so wholesalers interested in taking part should confirm the details with their Pernod Ricard Nigeria trade contact before the deadline.
