About Naija Breaking

Naija Breaking tells Nigeria's biggest stories clearly and quickly. Our newsroom reads reporting from more than thirty Nigerian and international outlets, then writes each story in its own words, checks every name and number against those reports, and lists the outlets it drew on at the end of each story.

We use AI tools in our newsroom to draft and check stories. Stories that name people in serious allegations are reviewed by a person before they appear.
