Seinde Signature marks sixth anniversary with N50m car giveaway for perfume buyers
- Luxury fragrance retailer Seinde Signature is giving away a Changan Uni-s car worth N50 million.
- Customers who spend at least N1 million on fragrances between October 25 and November 30 earn raffle tickets.
- The draw holds at a December event, and the founder says giveaways have always been part of the brand.
Luxury perfume retailer Seinde Signature is marking its sixth anniversary with a customer giveaway: a Changan Uni-s car worth N50 million as the grand prize.
The promotion, which the brand calls Scentiversary, opens today, October 25, and runs until November 30.
To qualify, a customer must spend at least N1 million on fragrances at any of the brand's stores nationwide. Purchases can be accumulated rather than made in one go, and the spend is not tied to a single fragrance house, the company said.
Founder Olaseinde Olusola announced the giveaway at a press conference, saying anniversary rewards have always been part of how the store relates to its customers.
He recalled that in its first year the brand brought perfumers to Nigeria, and in its second it took six customers to Milan. Recent anniversaries were quieter, he said, but the sixth is being marked in a bigger way.
"It's not a milestone, but we are going forward," he said.
The raffle draw will hold at an event in December, where the winner will drive home the SUV.
What buyers should know
- The minimum spend is N1 million, but it can be built up over several purchases within the validation period.
- Purchases from any of the brand's fragrances count, not just one label.
- The promotion starts October 25 and closes November 30; the draw is in December.
For a N50 million prize, the entry bar is steep for most shoppers. At N1 million a ticket, the giveaway is aimed squarely at the brand's high-spending clientele rather than the everyday perfume buyer.
Founded in 2020, Seinde Signature has grown into one of Nigeria's better-known retailers of niche fragrances, bringing houses and perfumers such as Christian Provenzano and Electimuss to the local market.
The brand says 2026 has been its strongest year yet. In April it hosted American perfumer Sarah Baker for the launch of two scents in what it described as an immersive stage production. It also expanded its fragrance bar in Lagos and worked with Electimuss London on a Nigerian-flag version of the Alkout fragrance, unveiled on Independence Day.
Its Advent Calendar Box sold out within two weeks, according to the company.
Olusola's birthday celebrations each May typically come with discounts for customers; this year's featured 40 per cent off all purchases.
Asked about the brand's direction, he said the company keeps investing in itself and sets no ceiling on its ambitions.
What happens next
Shoppers have until November 30 to build up qualifying purchases and collect raffle tickets. The draw in December will decide who takes the car.
