According to the posts, the gifts arrived in Heirs Holdings-branded packaging with handwritten notes reading "Zlatan, well done", "Our wife", "Congrats" and "Zlatan".
The packages carried Elumelu's signature initials, TOE. Legit.ng reported that the gift came in two white envelopes, each with a complimentary card, one addressed to Zlatan and the other to Davita as "our wife".
Elumelu, founder of UBA Group and Heirs Holdings, also congratulated the couple on X on Monday. "Proud of our Creatives! Congrats to @Zlatan_Ibile and Davita on your wedding," he wrote, according to Legit.ng.
The couple announced their wedding date in a video posted on October 8. The Nation reported that the ceremony featured Edo-inspired outfits to honour Davita's heritage, followed by a second look in coordinated Yoruba attire.
Guests included Davido, Seyi Vodi, Young Jonn, Iyabo Ojo, Papaya Ex, Lil Kesh and Teni. Influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa and comedian Broda Shaggi were among those who congratulated the couple online.
The gift drew plenty of comments online, with many amused by the "our wife" inscription. One user, @tiwaamie, wrote: "The only time Our wife doesn't seem like whining", while @princess_starrrrrrrrrr said: "Connection and money is very important in this life".
The newlyweds have not said what happens next, and neither Zlatan nor Elumelu has given further details about the gifts.
